Nicole M. Johnson, ScM, CGC

Genetic Counselor

Nicole M. Johnson, ScM, CGC is a licensed, board-certified genetic counselor working with individuals who have a personal or family history of cancer. 

Ms. Johnson received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She subsequently went to New Zealand to undertake a Diploma for Graduates in Health Sciences with a focus on Bioethics at the University of Otago in Dunedin. She earned a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the joint Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the National Human Genome Research Institute program. Prior to joining the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, Ms. Johnson worked in clinical positions at Johns Hopkins Hospital, as well as laboratory-based roles at Invitae and Color Genomics. 

Ms. Johnson specializes in helping individuals understand their personal risk of hereditary cancer, options for genetic testing and how testing results could impact their personal health care, as well as the health care of family members.
