Jane Hanna, RN, OCN, is the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital Pancreatic Disease Program coordinator. She is a liaison for referring physicians and their patients and helps with all aspects of patient care-from diagnosis to treatment to follow-up. With over 30 years of oncology nursing experience, her practice is patient and caregiver focused with an emphasis on education and empowerment.

Her past work experience includes direct patient care, clinical research, case management, patient and community education and outreach, program development and administration. Mrs. Hanna currently serves on the Medical Advisory Council of PanCAN, a national pancreatic cancer patient advocacy organization and is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society, National Coalition of Nurse Navigators and the Academy of Oncology Nurse Navigators.
