Research Assistant

Isabella Alvarez joined the Cancer Prevention and Control Program at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as a research assistant in August of 2025. Isabella graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Cognitive Science. 

Ms. Alvarez is passionate about developing digital interventions to make quality healthcare more scalable and accessible for all people, with a background in research utilizing mobile sensing technologies to examine anxiety in daily life. In the future, Ms. Alvarez plans to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology.
