Huei-Ting Tsai, PhD, joined Lombardi’s Cancer Control Program in 2010 as an Assistant Professor of Oncology. Dr. Tsai completed her doctorate in Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her postdoctoral training at the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at the National Cancer Institute. Before this, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a Master’s in Epidemiology from National Taiwan University. Dr. Tsai’s research interests include pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacogenetics, focusing on population-based studies to identify epidemiological and genetic factors that affect safety and efficacy in cancer care. Specifically, she has examined cardiotoxicity issues in prostate, breast, colorectal and lymphoma patients.
