Dr. Chahira Kozma is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Georgetown University Medical Center. She is board certified in Pediatrics, Clinical Genetics, and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. She is the Chief for the Division of Clinical Genetics and Developmental Pediatrics.
Dr. Kozma provides a wide range of clinical services at Georgetown University Medical Center and affiliated hospitals. She has a long experience in serving on various interdisciplinary teams, assessing prenatal exposure to substances and fetal alcohol syndrome, malformation syndromes, genetic aspects of developmental disabilities, developmental pediatrics, and prematurity follow up.
Dr. Kozma provides teaching in many settings including case conference, journal club, as well as directing and teaching formal courses in genetics. Dr. Kozma is the author of numerous publications in genetics, developmental pediatrics, and dwarfs in ancient Egypt.
